Accounting Clerk

Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners seeks an Accounting Clerk to provide the firm with administrative accounting services. Candidate will report directly to the Vice President of Accounting and Corporate Controller but will be expected to interact with all employees – including officers, project managers, office staff, and vendors. The Accounting Clerk is responsible for Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners’ administrative duties related to all areas of the firm’s accounting activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Process vendor invoices
  • Assist with preparation of billing
  • Record business transactions to the general ledger system
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process as needed
  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors as assigned
  • Assist in managing the flow of information between project managers and clients/vendors

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other spreadsheet applications
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Timberline software, a plus
