March Moments: Building Community Through Connection
Much like spring, our community partners have celebrated March with a flurry of activity and events intended to celebrate growth! Each gathering celebrates the rich, diverse, and supportive fabric of the neighborhoods we serve. It is a reminder of the impact that thoughtful engagement has on the wellbeing and connectedness of residents, and our team remains inspired by the active participation and feedback from the residents. The community body guides the continuous efforts to enhance community engagement initiatives.
A Glimpse into Nowruz
March ushered in the Persian New Year, Nowruz, a symbol of renewal and harmony. At Barcroft Apartments, our property management partner embraced this beautiful tradition by adorning the Leasing Office with an observance table, inviting residents to immerse themselves in the holiday’s traditional décor and savor prepacked delicacies typical of the Nowruz table. This arrangement and giveaways promoted inclusivity for those observing Ramadan.
Easter Eggstravaganza Across Several Communities
The Easter spirit was alive and well throughout Berkdale, Bedford and Victoria, Cascades Crossing, Phoenix Apartments, and Villas at Langley. Over 800 eggs filled with joy—ranging from toys and candies to coins—were hidden inside. The addition of Easter totes, door prizes, and Target gift cards made the event an unforgettable experience for everyone. The smiles, laughter, and community spirit on display were uplifting.
Spring Fling at Carver Terrace – A Renewal of Spirit and Community
With spring in the air, Carver Terrace hosted its Spring Fling event, celebrating renewal and fresh beginnings. In partnership with Connected Communities, Community Leaders Ward 5 Prevention Network, and Family Community Fellowship, our property management partners offered a day filled with engaging activities like spring painting, fish fries, giveaways, and even a visit from the Easter Bunny. The event began a series of gatherings to foster connections and community spirit.
Fostering Health and Wellness
Entwine took a holistic approach to health and wellness, hosting an event that brought together more than 35 residents for engaging games, music, and exciting raffles, alongside valuable community resources for therapy, support, and worship with Life Enhancement Services. Similarly, Barcroft Apartments focused on enriching the lives of senior residents through a tailored health and wellness event, offering vital information on services available to them, from transportation and food assistance to financial aid and activities. The Entwine mission remains committed to reaching all senior residents and ensuring they have access to the services most important to them.
The events hosted in March are merely a preview of the activities Jair Lynch’s communities have planned for spring and summer. With an emphasis on uniting residents and enhancing morale, our property management partners plan to curate diverse events catering to all residents’ interests and wellbeing.
These activities promote togetherness, offering opportunities to connect, learn, interact, and create lasting memories.
