As an Investment Manager at Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners, Mr. Barton plays a pivotal role in managing critical project components and enhancing the overall investment performance of projects throughout their entire lifecycle, from acquisition to completion. His responsibilities encompass project oversight, internal approvals facilitation, procurement of necessary debt and capital resources, and the development of comprehensive business strategies.
Prior to his tenure at Jair Lynch, Mr. Barton embarked on his real estate journey within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. His experience spans a diverse spectrum of real estate projects, ranging from high-profile Class A urban infill condominium developments in the heart of Washington, D.C. to the creation of essential workforce housing solutions across the Mid-Atlantic region. During his tenure as a LIHTC consultant in the Washington, D.C. market, Mr. Barton discovered his passion for promoting attainable housing initiatives.
Most recently, Mr. Barton served as an Underwriter with CBRE’s prestigious Affordable Housing Debt team, where he assumed responsibility for managing a portfolio exceeding $800 million in GSE financing. His client roster included renowned institutional developers such as Blackstone, Fairfield, and Peake Capital Partners. In this role, Mr. Barton demonstrated exceptional acumen in structuring and managing complex financing arrangements, further cementing his reputation as a trusted expert in the realm of real estate finance and investment.
